I really do love it there, especially when the beach is fairly empty.

Getting a Dog

We are getting this dog soon, probably this weekend. Then our household will be up to 2 adults, 6 kids, 2 cats, and 1 dog. Maybe we should get some of those stick figures for the back of the van. 

Easter Sunday at the Garden with the Grandparents

 I took lots of pictures of my oldest so she could have something to send with her graduation announcements.

 The Easter bunny ran past.

 The little ones fed the fish with Nanna and Papa.

 Papa played a new board game with the kids.

 I was happy to get this photo of my camera-shy beautiful daughter.

Walk on the Beach

 This pelican flew over me this morning.  The beach is about 3 hours away from my house, so it was special for me to be able to just go out there and take a walk.  I had just finished chaperoning an overnight trip for 7th graders, and I had decided to stay and take a walk before I headed home.

 The sun was shining on the water beautifully.

 There weren't very many people out.

I think I crossed paths with more birds than people, actually.
