Anniversary 19

Today is our wedding anniversary.  Today there is not a lot of fanfare, no glorious beach sunset.  This picture is from 2005.  Yet I know he still loves me.  :)

Graduation

We are the proud parents of a high school graduate!

By the way, she is taller than me but she was also wearing heels. :)

The birthday girl who wanted a dog so much turned out to not be a dog person.

After Bailey came, the kids who wanted the dog the most were the little kids and a teenager who wasn't ready for full responsibility.

And My Husband found out he's allergic to dogs.  We were on a week-long trial period from the animal rescue group.  I agonized as we got closer to the end of the trial week, but in the end, the Spirit gave me peace about giving Bailey back to her foster family.

 I decided to photograph the first time the pooper scooper had to be used.  You might also notice the contrast between our backyard and the neighbor's green oasis.  No judging! :)

I've been putting off posting about our rather short-lived dog ownership.  Ultimately we had to take Bailey back to her foster family, and it was somewhat painful to have to do that.  Next time I'll post more Bailey pictures and more explanation of what happened.
